The phlogopite tape has good flexibility in normal state. It uses high-quality phlogopite paper as the base material. The price of phlogopite is moderate and the cost is low. It is widely used in Class B fire-resistant cables. However, due to the limitation of temperature resistance (phlogopite releases crystal water at 800 ℃), it is difficult to meet the requirements of Class A fire-resistant cables;
It is applicable to the fire-resistant insulation layers of various fire-resistant cables with a fire-resistant temperature of 750-800 ℃, a voltage of 1000V, and no breakdown for 90min.
Synthetic mica tape
Synthetic mica tape has excellent insulation and high temperature resistance. It uses artificial mica with large size and complete crystal form synthesized under normal pressure as the base material. It has small expansion coefficient, high dielectric strength, high resistivity and uniform dielectric constant. Synthetic mica tape has the advantage of meeting Class A fire resistance requirements for its temperature resistance grade, but its hardness is higher than that of natural mica, and its flexibility in the process of wrapping is slightly worse. Moreover, the dispute about "fluoride" is restricted by various EU environmental protection directives, so special attention should be paid to its promotion and application in the EU.
It is applicable to those with high fire resistance rating, temperature of 950-1000 ℃, voltage of 1000V, and no breakdown for 90min. Because its fire resistance is higher than ordinary phlogopite, it is widely used in key projects with high fire resistance rating and long fire resistance time.
Calcined muscovite zone
The calcined muscovite belt has excellent insulation and high temperature resistance. It uses calcined high-quality muscovite as the base material. The principle is that the selected high-temperature muscovite is treated at high temperature to remove the crystal water and all non mica impurities that damage the voltage and temperature resistance, greatly improving and stabilizing the temperature resistance and insulation of mica. The content of silicone resin in calcined mica belt is more than 50% higher than that in traditional fire-resistant mica belt, In the combustion process of fire-resistant mica tape, the silicone resin and mica are sintered at high temperature to form a dense conductor protective shell (insulator) with SiO2 as the main structure, and the electrical insulation performance is more stable. The fire resistance of wires and cables is effectively improved.
